Anyone else finding they don’t want to put the heating on as their eczema will just itch like anything? I’m keeping my skin hydrated with rose water 💦 and it reduces redness too

The tiger within..

Hear me roar 🦁 I’m not scared of lions, tigers or bears not of my eczema either I am the tiger 🐅 . I’m doing really well at the minute but I know heading into autumn 🍂 now and I know that This year I’m not going to let my eczema define me like it has done for years in the autumn and winter.

We always tell kids not to scratch and itch and I’m determined to this year change my mindset about eczema and not use steroid cream as I know it can cause TSW. So watch this space..

Do you ever know you shouldn’t eat something but you do anyway?

My face in shock.. I do this Everytime.. I know a lot of processed food, coffee, pastries and beer isn’t good for me, my gut or my eczema. But you know what I’m only human and sometimes I want to and deal with the consequences.

I made chilli a lovely rich beautiful chilli and now my body is like why? It’s where my brain and my body weren’t aligned and my brain won yesterday. But maybe everything in moderation. I’m still figuring out some triggers and that’s ok. But no if you do have a lapse you are just normal and human and that’s ok.

I’ll tell you a secret!

This is the best my skin has been for awhile still a bit of eczema on my eye but you can’t really tell. Can you? Nope that’s because I have a secret.. I’ve been using something for the past 30 days.. and it’s not what I’ve put on top of my skin but more what I’ve been putting in my body! That’s a little thing called collagen! Have you heard of it before? I hadn’t until last month I didn’t know that 80% of your body is made up of it.. it’s in your bones, muscles, skin, hair its literally everywhere.. and I didn’t know when you get to late 20’s early 30’s it stops producing nearly as much hence wrinkles etc ⏰ I’m a lot happier with my skin and feel I could go out without make up if you want to know more you could let me help you pop me an email

This is what stress looks like

Covid 19 has been the brunt of our lives for over a year now and it’s only added to stress which has come out in my hands like this.

It’s ok though.. I’m trying a different sort of diet cutting out wheat, dairy, sugar and yes god forbid alcohol it’s actually to help my Ibs ( I should point out that the no dairy etc is just for 21 days) but I thought it would also help my skin too! Let you know how I get on with it all. Hands, one eye and behind my ear are what gets it the most.
